Modelling Sustainable Industrial Symbiosis

Industrial symbiosis networks conventionally provide economic and environmental benefits to participating industries. However, most studies have failed quantify waste management solutions identify network connections in addition methodological variation of assessments. This study provides a comprehensive model conduct sustainable industrial symbiosis, which includes identification connections, life cycle assessment materials, assessment, performance using standard guidelines from the literature. Additionally, case Sodankylä region Finland is implemented. Results projected an estimated cost €115.20 million. The symbiotic environment would save €6.42 million business participants impact 0.95 tonne CO2, 339.80 CH4, 18.20 N2O. potential further saving with presented optimal current architecture forecast at €0.63 every year.
